Stephen is Nationally Board Certified and holds a license with the State of Alabama Massage Board, #2390. 

Stephen is also a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association. His practical training and experience includes Swedish, Prenatal Massage, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Structural Integration, and Aromatherapy.  

Stephen graduated from the University of Alabama before attending Red Mountain School for the Healing Arts, where he learned Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular Therapies - a strong foundation to grow on. 

Briefly thereafter, Stephen had the incredible opportunity to work with Aveda for five years before going out on his own: "It was an incredible experience, and their Ayurvedic philosophy, it really showed me how to treat the whole person." In addition, Stephen has focused his continued education on structural work, based on the discoveries of Ida Rolph. "I believe one of the most vital roles of massage is to restructure soft tissue.
